- Practically perfect in every way.
- Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
- Held on the ceiling.
If we're talking about the Mentor Library's Mary Poppins tea party this Saturday, the answer is only 1 and 2. (Due to safety protocol and the law of gravity, we'll be holding our tea party on the floor; but that doesn't mean it won't be practically perfect.)
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mary Poppins, the library is hosting a special tea party at noon this Saturday at its main branch.
Kids will make chalk drawings with Bert the Chimney Sweep, sing along to music from the movie and enjoy a proper British tea—the sort of which Ms. Poppins would approve.
You can register for the tea party on our web site or by calling (440) 255-8811 ext. 221.
The party is for children ages five and older. Each family should have one adult accompany their child to the party (but not more than one adult. We want to leave as much room for kids as possible.) And each person should bring their own teacup.
The library hosts a tea party each year around Mother's Day. We've had Alice in Wonderland, American Girl and Fancy Nancy parties. Last year, we had a Tea-Licious Tea party.
It's always a lot of fun; but the room tends to fill up quickly, so you'll need to register soon to make sure there's space for you and your child.
So how do you take your tea? She takes hers with a spoonful of sugar...
